Immersion in the Great North !
Climb aboard the musher’s sled and admire the magnificent landscapes that surround you.
For the more adventurous, Elsa and Fred offer introductory driving lessons.
Learn to drive your own team of 3 or 4 sled dogs with the advice of the musher instructor.
Each session includes the briefing, harnessing of the dogs and the ride.
Driving a sled requires significant commitment from the rider.
The sleds ride over rough terrain, which is why this activity is not recommendedfor people with back, hip or joint problems. It is also not recommended for pregnant women.
WARNING! The sled driving initiation session is not a simple ride. You will have to raise your voice and run behind the sled on uneven terrain to help the dogs in the ascents. This activity therefore requires very good physical condition.
Note that the supervisors reserve the right to cancel or rearrange sessions even at the last moment.
This activity is popular all throughout the winter and especially during school vacation periods.
