From July 8 to August 31, 2022, the Arlysère agglomeration proposes a free shuttle service from
Albertville, Beaufort, Hauteluce, Flumet and Crest-Voland
which calls at not only all the villages and resorts of Beaufortain and Val d’Arly,
but also a large number of trails, circuits and tourist sites in our beautiful mountains.
All shuttles are equipped to transport mountain bikes.

No need to fill up or worry about parking.

Make your mountain holiday easier, and take the “Ligne Nature” shuttle buses!

These shuttles are accessible to individuals and groups (subject to seat availability). Usually the buses wait for each other, but do look at the timetable of the conncting bus lines you may need.

The times mentioned are approximate and depend on traffic. Arrive at the stop a few minutes before the time indicated and be sure to organize your activities (length of visits, walking time, etc.) according to the return of the shuttle bus. In high season, avoid the last shuttles of the day in order to limit the risks of overcrowding in the vehicles (especially for groups).

Due to activities and/or events, some stops may be modified.

In FLUMET, the shuttle stop in front of the Tourist Office will be moved exceptionally
to Avenue du Lac, on the small car park next to the rubbish containers.
The main street will be 100% pedestrian for the following dates:

The Chard du Beurre tourBeaufortain

From the resort of Les Saisies, this 2.5 hour hike goes up to the summit of Chard du Beurre and its Balcony overlooking Mont Blanc, which offers a 360° view of the surrounding peaks and lends itself wonderfully to a picnic with friends or family.

Access from Beaufort
Take the shuttle bus to Les Saisies to the Signal parking lot. Follow signs to Col de la Lézette passing by Col des Saisies, Espace Erwin Eckl, Mountain Twister and Les Verdets. From here, head towards Le Chard du Beurre through Plan Périot. From the summit, go down towards Covetan passing through Sous le Chard du Beurre and Forêt de Covetan. Then return to the Signal via Les Sangliers, Espace Erwin Eckl and Col des Saisies. It is possible to take the Chard du Beurre chairlift to make the climb easier and access the summit directly.

The Abbey of TamiéCountry of Albertville

A short walk from the Fort of Tamié, a beautiful loop (about 2 hours), accessible for all the family, allows you to discover the Tamié valley and its remarkable abbey, founded by Peter II of Tarentaise in around 1132.

Access from Albertville
Take the shuttle bus to Tamié via Frontenex. At the parking lot follow Abbaye de Tamié. Go past the Chemin du Fort and the hamlet of Moulins. When you arrive at the Abbaye de Tamié, continue to Sur l’Abbaye. Then turn left towards Col de Tamié – Parking, pass by Mallapalud – Centre de vacances and come back to the starting point to enjoy the setting for a while or get a shuttle back.

The Thirsty RoadVal d'Arly

Go on a long, scenic, family-friendly mountain bike ride through the alpine pastures below the Aravis cliffs.

Access from Flumet
Take the shuttle bus in front of the Tourist Office to its terminus at the Col des Aravis. From the parking lot, take the track towards La Zorette and then the path towards La Tête. From there, continue along to Psamo, Plan Rebord, and direction Chalet du Curé. Then continue the itinerary towards Bogneuve, where the trail alternates between ascents and descents until the Col de l’Arpettaz and its numerous alpine farms (restaurant / cheese sales). Beware, the itinerary is long, so remember to take something to hydrate yourself.

The Quefinette and the Bleu ArêchoiseBeaufortain

2 courses to get used to the pleasures of riding the Enduro VTT with a succession of playful passages interspersed with more technical sections. Access possible on bike or directly by chairlift on certain days of the week.

Access from Albertville
From the SNCF train station, take the shuttle directly to Arêches or make a change in Beaufort to get the shuttle back to Saint-Guerin (schedules on p. 6 and 7). From the center of Arêches, either go down into the village and then take the Grand Mont chairlift (open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays in the summer), or go up the Col du Pré road and then the Grande Parre forest trail (6.5 km and + 700 m) to the starting points on the Cuvy plateau. Possibility of coupling these routes with other mountain bike circuits (rando and Enduro) from easy to expert levels.
