Jazz Side

With Rain Chek – Folk Blues Duo / Brittany

This is the meeting of two Finisterian songwriters and their respective inspirations: Brendan De Roeck and Raphaël Gouvy. One is a talented guitarist with a blues-jazz-rock tendency whose riffs have accompanied many vocalists; the second is an indie-folk singer with a voice that is sometimes suave, sometimes crystalline, charged with emotion. Since the very first meeting during 2018, guitars, keyboards and vocals do not cease to answer each other in a dance by turns poetic and catchy, where their two worlds intertwine.

If the dominant color of the songs of Rain Check is related to the American Folk Music, with acoustic guitar and voice, the addition of electric guitars, keyboards and percussions opens them a broad universe where the two musicians do not forbid themselves any digression towards the rock or the pop. A duo that goes to the essential, without artifice.

With the Misters Swing Brothers – French Songs

A duo composed of Serge Gros, accordion virtuoso, and Philippe Chapuis, better known as Chap’s, singer-banjoist with communicative joy.

What a beautiful but perilous encounter for musicians, that of a banjo and an accordion! The Misters Brothers take up the challenge and take you on an atypical road trip where jazz flirts with French and international variety…and when popular tunes mix with North American sounds, the trip is immediate.
