Aravis Snow Trail

11th edition

For all the sportsmen and white trail enthusiasts, come and challenge yourself on this snow run! This event on groomed snow takes place at the foot of the slopes. This sporting challenge is part of a festive atmosphere to mark the end of the alpine skiing season.

Getting there

At the start of the Plan

in La Giettaz en Aravis

The departure is from the hamlet of Plan de La Giettaz in Aravis (altitude 1200m).

On snow, runners will take a trail lined with fir trees to reach the ridges and the most beautiful panorama of the region between the Aravis chain and the Mont-Blanc, unique 360° view at the top of Torraz which culminates at 1930m.

The runners will find a supply as well as all the supporters and spectators who will have been able to take the chairlift specially (free ascent from 9:00 to 9:15).

Participants will then begin the descent to the finish, still on groomed track, spikes and poles are accepted.

The award ceremony will be held in the wake, a meal to take away or to eat on site is planned (reservation required).

Event subject to health regulations in force.
Vaccination pass is no longer required

The chairlifts of the Grande Rare and the Tête du Torraz open for free especially for the spectators of the Aravis Snow Trail. Come and encourage our racers, in an idyllic setting, with a 360° panorama at the top.

The ESF offers you the opportunity to search for treasure in the manner of avalanche rescuers, using an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe.

The ESF offers you an introduction to laser rifle shooting, followed by a short, fun sports course in the form of a team relay race combined with biathlon-style shooting.
