It's from Brizon onwards that things get tough.
As far as Solaison, the 6.2 kilometres are spread over 509 metres of ascent at an average gradient of... 8%! But these figures, already terrible on paper, hide another aspect: the gradient will be very irregular, alternating between some - fairly short - sections at 6% and others - fairly long - at over 10%!
The second difficulty of the day, the Col de la Colombière.
Starting from Scionzier, you can warm up over 2 km. From Blanzy, the hostilities begin with 1.1 km at 5%, then 2 km at 8% and finally 1 km at 6.5%. You'll need to make the most of a generous flat area of between 2 and 3% for 3 km as far as Le Reposoir, because the second part of this climb will be no picnic: 7.3 km at an average gradient of 8.5%!
It's the last 3km that will seem interminable, a terrible finish with 2km at 9.5% and then the last 800 metres at 10.5% to reach the Col de la Colombière.

The return journey via the other side of the Aravis mountains will be a mere formality.
The organisation reserves the right to modify the routes according to the weather conditions and other unforeseen events.

All participants must provide proof that they are fit to practise cycling.
Each participant must have a medical certificate that proves their ability to cycle that dates from 2025 or no longer than one year ago.
No registration will be taken into account if the file is incomplete.
