Since 1986, when the first Fête de l'Attelage was held to mark the centenary of the opening of the Gorges de l'Arly road between Ugine and Flumet, around twenty horse-drawn vehicles have traditionally converged at the end of August on Flumet, a former stagecoach stop at the heart of the Val d'Arly, between Albertville and Megève.

Folk groups, brass bands and accordion players join in the parade and liven up the town centre all day long. A dinner dance hosted by Dj Mountain Music (Patrick Déglise Favre) will bring the evening to a close under the big top.

There will also be games and entertainment for children: pony rides from €4; wood carving for children with Bambins des Bois. Come and create your own wooden horse and have fun! Free wooden games, brainteasers ...
All day long, Louna Tailleur from Domancy will be sharing her passion for horses and her work as a farrier in the Place du Château.
