The street artist Amsted, whom we met on the heights of Saint Nicolas La Chapelle, in Marcinelle en Montagne, is a specialist in art therapy. She devotes part of her time to working in hospitals, helping patients in the field of psychotherapy, by stimulating creativity. Opposite the reception of this holiday residence, she offers us a soothing urban painting, a symphony of colours and shapes, where the omnipresent blue background evokes the Alpine sky, a serene setting for the invigorating swirls of orange, pink and yellow, which breathe solar energy into the whole. These bright hues, in the middle of the dominant blue, evoke a torrent of life and light, celebrating the fluidity and renewal of life. It is a vibrant homage to the surrounding nature and its cycles, a patchwork of movements and chromatic bursts that celebrates the richness and diversity of the fauna and flora. Contemplating this fresco, we are invited to follow the meanders of these abstract forms which could be fingerprints of the Earth itself, thus reminding us of the impact of our presence on our environment and underlining the urgency of its preservation.
