Léa Layeux

With a background in technical laboratory sciences, plant biology has always fascinated me. I began creating ephemeral compositions with plants at a very young age, and today it's what gives meaning to my life. Nestled in the village of La Giett', I offer myself an incredible playground in the heart of this unspoilt natural environment. I'd be delighted to welcome you to one of my workshops.

Her history

Born in the Vercors Highlands, Léa Layeux, aka Oxaléa, grew up in harmony with nature, exploring the richness of the forests and their biodiversity. Passionate about plant biology after a scientific education, she now finds her inspiration in the unspoilt village of La Giettaz in the Aravis mountains. A creator of ephemeral plant-based compositions, she invites contemplation through herbarium workshops and works celebrating the beauty of natural detail. Each collection becomes a poetic work of art and a tribute to nature. Committed to raising awareness and preserving forests, Oxaléa offers Ethical Art where every adoption of a work generates a donation. Its message is clear: “It’s time to observe what’s at our feet before raising our eyes to the sky.”
